Welcome
Do you want to pay hundreds, maybe thousands less in unemployment insurance taxes?
You never want to pay more than you have to - especially when it comes to taxes. Unfortunately, many employers are paying more than they should in unemployment insurance taxes and true expertise in this complex area of the law is hard to find.
As former General Counsel for the Department of Workforce Development, Dustin Stohler understands the complexities of Indiana's unemployment insurance laws and can help you navigate the system. Together, we can remove incorrect charges from your account, train your managers to win unemployment insurance hearings, and reduce your tax burden as much as possible.
Audits
Is the government paying too much in unemployment benefits on your behalf?
Benefits are often paid based almost entirely on the information claimants report. If former employees mistakenly or fraudulently provide incorrect information, you could be charged for over $10,000 in benefits you should never have to pay.
With extensive knowlege of the most common mistakes and fraud claimants commit, we can identify these cases and work with the government to remove improper charges from your account.
The best part - there is no cost unless we save you money. So what are you waiting for? Contact us now at info_stohlerlaw.com.
Training
Do you feel like the deck is stacked against you when it comes to defending unemployment claims?
If you don't present the right witnesses, documents, or facts, it can cost you thousands. Your ability to defend an unemployment claim starts the day you hire the employee. We can walk you through all of the steps you should take to defend frivolous claims and eliminate the mistakes that cause you to lose unemployment claims.
The average unemployment insurance claimant receives about $4,000. We can improve your performance for a fraction of that cost. To get started, contact us at info_stohlerlaw.com

Investigations
You pay thousands in taxes to provide a safety net for your employees. Shouldn't they uphold their end of the bargain?
Unemployment insurance isn't a paid vacation. It is a bridge from the time they leave employment with your company until they find another job. Many employers, however, have found that candidates are not interested positions they offer because life is easier on unemployment.
We will make sure that the individuals who are getting paid from your account are actively seeking work and are not getting their benefits through fraud. It won't cost you a dime unless we save you money, so what are you waiting for? Contact us today at info_stohlerlaw.com.
